Head of Large Molecule

With over 20 years experience in FDA and TGA regulated pharmaceutical manufacture, quality control and quality assurance, Matthew currently serves as the Head of Large Molecule at Agilex Biolabs.

In this role Matt used his proven experience in day to day oversight and management of multidisciplinary teams for high throughput, quality processing to deliver the best outcome for Agilex’s clients in the Immuno-assay and Immuno-biology departments. He has a personal focus and passion for growth and development of people within the controlled and regulated environments.

Committed to continuous learning, Matt hold extended training including Australian Institute of Company Directors, Diploma in Project Management, Adelaide University Business School Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing (yellow belt), Good Manufacturing Practice, Quality Systems, Value Added Deviation Management, Lean Risk Based Validation and Certification IV Training.

A defining moment in his professional life occurred early in his professional career while working for a firm who manufactured antivenin for US Rattlesnakes. Hearing war stories from patients who simply sat down on a log and were bitten. These people were able to retain a limb or function of their hand, as a result of work that started with Australian sheep was eye opening and showed to him the value of medicines to all of us when made safely and effectively. This passion now translates into delivering the best clinical data we can here at Agilex biolabs so that everyone can benefit from better products driven by science.
