Ian Milne

Born in Adelaide, Ian earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has pursued a career in biotechnology and pharmaceutical development, with a focus on analytical development, QC and Quality.  Over his career, Ian has gained extensive experience in the development, validation and lifecycle maintenance of analytical methods used for the development, characterization, manufacture, and release of complex pharmaceuticals including biologics and biosimilars.

Ian has broad expertise and knowledge across chemical, biochemical and microbiological analytics and has extensive experience in GxP processes.  With experience in building and developing global teams, Ian is passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Currently leading the Agilex Biolabs Small Molecule Operations team, Ian provides management and direction for the LC-MS and Toxicology departments.  Ian takes incredible pride in supporting the on-going development of new capabilities and capacities across his departments and supporting the growth and development of his team.
