Morgan Evans

With over a decade of progressive experience spanning roles from laboratory technician to Senior Scientific Advisor, Morgan Evans currently serves as Head of Science and Innovation at Agilex Biolabs, a position he has held since 2024. In this pivotal role, he ensures the scientific integrity of studies conducted across all project teams, shapes the scientific strategy at an executive level, and collaborates closely with clients to design effective bioanalytical strategies. Additionally, he spearheads the development of Agilex’s innovation framework, identifying and nurturing pioneering ideas that maintain Agilex’s competitive edge in the industry.

Morgan is an expert in pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity, and biomarker analysis, with a deep understanding of context-of-use principles. His expertise allows him to create fit-for-purpose immunogenicity and biomarker assays, optimising assay design and implementation to precisely meet the intended clinical and regulatory objectives.

Recognized early in his career as a promising talent in bioanalysis, Morgan was nominated for the Bioanalysis Rising Star Award in 2019. He has consistently demonstrated thought leadership in the field, sharing insights at high-profile events including the Workshop on Recent Issues in Bioanalysis (WRIB) and the European Bioanalysis Forum. Notably, he delivered podium presentations addressing innovative technologies in bioanalysis and authored influential poster presentations aimed at enhancing patient-centric methodologies.

A defining moment in his professional journey occurred during university, when personal experiences with a family member affected by rare viral-induced encephalitis reignited his passion for science, fundamentally shifting his perspective toward patient-focused research. Today, this commitment drives every facet of his work, guided by the mantra, “If it doesn’t directly benefit the patient, it isn’t worth pursuing.”

His unique blend of leadership, deep analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and extensive bioanalytical expertise position him as a transformative force within Agilex Biolabs.
